Boerwors

Boerewors is an Africaans literally meaning "farmers sausage"and a great South African tradition, popular as a staple at any BBQ or "braai".We make our wors to tried and trusted original recipes using a mixture of of quality beef, lamb and pork , and of course our signature spice blend . We make to order to ensure the you receive the very best of product , ready to cook and enjoy. 

Boerewors is a full meat dry sausage with a low fat content and therefore unlike your average "banger" it does not contain any fillers such as rusk or pin meal.

Cooking

Wors may be pan fried, grilled, barbecued or oven baked . whichever method you choose ensure its piping hot all the way through, par boiling for 5 mins helps to render and distribute the fat evenly and prevents the casing splitting.

We make and ship on the same day and we send first class with Royal Mail . The wors is packed in disposable trays and vacuum sealed, and will keep fresh unopened for 8 days , once opened we recommend eating straight away.
